Carving Pumpkins-Part 2

Since the other pumpkin we carved shriveled up already and we had two more pumpkins that needed carving, we decided to carve them tonight!!

What Breyden Learned in School

For any of you that have (or have had) kids in school, when they are younger and you ask them what they are learning/doing in school you get extremely vague answers. Well, the other day when I was picking Breyden and Jaxson up from Michael's parent's house Breyden started reciting......

The pledge of allegiance. I was shocked, I had no idea they even did the pledge let alone that she would know it word for word and know exactly where to put her hand. What a big girl she is; way to go Breyden!!

Jaxson's Two Month Check-Up

We took Jaxson to the Dr.s on Monday. He was a trooper. He had to have three shots. He cried for about 5 or 10 seconds and then he was over it. He weighed 11lbs 1oz; that puts him in about the 25th percentile. The doctor was not too impressed that he was already having rice cereal bottles, but we could not keep that boy satisfied. Everything else looked good, he is growing as he should be. The Dr. said he should start sleeping through the night at about 12lbs. I can't wait until he starts sleeping 12 hours!!! I love my sleep.

Carving Pumpkins

Michael and Breyden carved her pumpkin Sunday night. Breyden was a little apprehensive about sticking her hand in the goop, but she finally got brave and wanted to clean out the whole thing.



Michael free-handed the drawing to carve....IMPRESSIVE!!

Hunting

I hate posting this, but I guess we kinda have a new member of our family...A new deer. Michael went hunting over the weekend at got a deer within the first couple of hours on opening day. I have to admit that I never thought he would actually get one. He has been hunting ever since we've dated/been married and never got one....He did this year!!

We are only keeping the horns, but nonetheless, he will be hanging on the wall in the basement!!

Sleepover with the boys!

We were lucky enough to have Markus, Zack and Link over for a sleepover Saturday night while mom and dad were at the BYU game (BOOOO...GO UTES). We had a blast!!
